Projection Dress at the Luma Projection Arts Festival

We brought our projection dresses to a projection mapping festival in Binghamton, NY.

In September, we had the pleasure of showcasing our projection-mapped dresses at the LUMA projection arts festival.

LUMA is a projection festival held annually in Upstate New York that celebrates the intersection of art and technology. Founded in 2015, the three-person team expected a crowd of 3,000: and 30,000 came. Since then the festival has grown, with the mission dedicated to the art of storytelling through projection mapping.

The event took over the downtown of Binghamton with large-scale projection mapping and storytelling on buildings throughout the area. The event also featured indoor art installations and performances.

We showcased two versions of the projector hat in the VIP area and mingling in the crowds: our floral-themed hat from the 2017 MakeFashion gala, and a newer design with fireworks and a futuristic-inspired dress.
