Lumen Couture LED Bluetooth Mask Featured on Official NBA Instagram

We've always been about tech and fashion – and we can add sports to the list!

We were pleased to see our mask show up in the NBA bubble. Our friend Carling Jackson The Athlete Artist loved our mask and introduced the product to her network of pro athletes.

Our LED Bluetooth mask was invented in April and has customized images, messages, and effects as controlled by an app. The mask can be purchased here.

Since launching the mask we've seen it used for political demonstrations, retail messages, and just for fun. We hope that you are able to find ways to use our mask to bring joy and light into this difficult year.

About the Author: Chelsea Klukas is an award-winning interdisciplinary technology artist and design leader. She has founded two companies exploring the intersection of fashion and technology (Lumen Couture and MakeFashion) and was recently granted her Doctorate of Fine Arts (h.c.) in 2019. Her Lumen Couture projector hat, a hat that includes real-time projection mapping and visual inputs to display video on a dress, has gained international attention as the first of its kind. She is an advocate for diversity and women in tech.
