ONE LOVE Runway Show in Seattle

We lit up the runway with two unique collections.

We recently has the pleasure of showcasing on the runway for theONE LOVE: Seattle Art Exhibition & Fashion Show. The event was held at the Rhino Room in Capitol Hill, and was presented by WILDJAY clothing.

The sold out event featured local Seattle designers including BunchaScrunch, Trash by Tony, and Bartle B. The event had over 50 models on the runway and featured pop-up shops and art exhibitions from the community.

Lumen Couture showcased two different collections in two unique runway sets. "Dark Power" featured our streetwear collection with gothic and sci-fi themes. Our second walk featured the Lumiere Atelier collection with sequins and elegant designs.

Garments from these collections are available for sale, rentals, and photoshoots and events.

About the Author: Chelsea Klukas is an award-winning interdisciplinary technology artist and design leader. She has founded two companies exploring the intersection of fashion and technology (Lumen Couture and MakeFashion) and was recently granted her Doctorate of Fine Arts (h.c.) in 2019. Her Lumen Couture projector hat, a hat that includes real-time projection mapping and visual inputs to display video on a dress, has gained international attention as the first of its kind. She is an advocate for diversity and women in tech.

Lumen Couture is fashion that illuminates for unexpected elegance and drama. The designs are informed by the international fashiontech shows hosted by MakeFashion, an organization that introduces youth to STEM through hands-on fashion technology workshops.
